YOUNGER WITHOUT THE HUNGER

Younger Without The Hunger

Eat Stress Free And Slowly
According to research eating at your desk or on the run increases stress levels, is taxing on your immune system and increases the aging process.

A good way of getting round this is to make sure you enjoy at least one meal a day with friends or family. This ensures you eat slower and at a more relaxed pace ensuring your body has the best chance of breaking down the food and thus increasing your metabolism.

Veg Out
Think of vegetables as your very own fountain of youth, but you have to know how to prepare them otherwise vitamins and minerals can be lost.
Make sure you eat fresh fruit and veg as soon as possible after purchase, if this isn’t possible then buy frozen.
Don't overcook, make sure you start with boiling water and cover tightly to keep in the steam, as this speeds up cooking.
And finally remember to use as little water as possible when you cook fruit and veg to ensure the least amount of goodness is lost. If you do use a lot of water re-use it for a sauce or soup, this way you'll recapture some of the lost vitamins and minerals

Always Eat Breakfast
It’s often said but breakfast really is the most important meal of the day and here’s why!

Breakfast kick starts your body after a night’s rest during which your energy reserves have run down and it prepares you for the day ahead.

What you choose to eat at breakfast can affect your mood, physical and mental performance, your weight and your general and long-term health.

If you miss breakfast you are much more likely to get hungry mid morning and end up grabbing a high calorie snack – you know which one we mean!

So take note and make sure you start your day the right way!
